okay so ryan knows that this space in our loft has been driving me absolutely NUTS, so he called me on his way home from work Tuesday and told me to jump in the truck when he pulled into the parking lot. Why, you're wondering? Because he wanted to take me to Ashley furniture to buy me this leather chaise that I love! (He had a really amazing coupon too. In case you don't know my husband, he doesn't buy ANYTHING unless he has a coupon or it is on sale. I love this about him.) I know we won't live in this loft forever, and this chaise is a really functional piece that can fit in a bedroom, office, or even Ryan's studio when we buy a house. It's awesome. It can work in any room.
(I'm thinking of putting a fun orange and turquoise pillow on it, since those are my colors!)
anyway, he bought me this super comfy great-looking leather chaise as an early valentines present, and i'm in love. He also had some really great ideas for decorating that stupid little corner of our loft, so I think i'm just going to trust him and let him design his little heart out. It may take us a while to get this little space decorated, because money doesn't grow on trees (even though we live in the year 2011. it totally should by now). But as soon as it's done, I'll post some pictures!
