So this is post #2 in my wedding series posts, and I have to tell you, it's so much fun to go back and look at my wedding pictures! I mean it only happened four months ago, but looking at the pictures makes me feel like it happened yesterday! I mean I can still remember feeling absolutely every emotion- stress that everything would go right and that it wouldn't RAIN, excitement to see my groom and FINALLY be married to him, and sadness to leave my family and start one of my own. It was by far the best day of my life! I decided to show y'all some of the little details that made my wedding so wonderful! And I have to give all the credit to my mom. Seriously, she's incredible. I told her the style I was going for and the things I wanted, and she made it happen. She made all my table arrangements!
This is a picture from the rehearsal dinner, because I couldn't find one from the wedding, but the centerpieces were the same. My mom put daisies and hypericum berries in mason jars with white crystals at the bottom. There were three jars on each table, with limes in between the jars and little crystals sprinkled on the table. They sat on a table runner of yellow gingham. My theme was country chic, so the center pieces just tied the theme in perfectly! Anyone want to hire my mom yet?
The next few pictures are just a few of the details my mom threw together. These were set on my cake table. My colors were brown and yellow, but I used a lot of lemons and limes to add that pop of color!
And this is my cake! My cake lady was fantastic, and it turned out just the way I wanted! The inside was filled with vanilla bean and chocolate chocolate chip cake. Yum yum!
My mom had these cute country door hangers on all the doors to the house and tied the top with a yellow gingham ribbon!
When Ryan and I left the wedding and ran to the car, the guests at my wedding waved these wedding wands! I ordered them offline and it's basically a monogrammed ribbon on a plastic clear stick! They said "Ryan and Lindsay Stevenson May 23, 2009". I love the way they looked in pictures! My mom displayed them in crystal vases on a table beside the front door! That's a picture of framed wedding invitation (which my hubby made!) !
My sweet hubby made these signs! He cut the wood, painted it white, and wrote Wedding on them! They lined the long driveway back to the parking! I think they went along perfect with my theme!
This is a picture of my incredible bouquet.... that my mom MADE! She did all the bouquets for the wedding, and they were incredible!
So this wraps up this post, but stay tuned because at the end of my series I'm going to post my wedding slideshow that my incredible photographer Adam Hudson made for me! Don't you just love weddings?!
