my little cozy reading nook! :)

so remember when I wrote about my design dilemma a few months ago? (here)

Well, I'm so happy with what we did to that space! Ryan bought me an awesome chase from Ashley furniture for Valentines day, and it fits perfect in this space! I was a little nervous at first that the chase would make the space and living room look cluttered, but it totally doesn't!

i love it! It's so cozy and i love the natural sunlight that beams through those big windows! This has become my favorite spot to read and spend time with my Lord.

((ignore all the cords on the floor. i WILL find a way to hide those eye-sores.)

The only new thing in this space is that chair! We pulled everything else from other rooms in our loft. We got the reading lamp for our wedding and we bought that pedestal table when we first got married from Wal*Mart for $20 bucks. My mom gave me that awesome blanket for Christmas, and that lovely orchid is from my honey on Valentines day! :)

I hope to one day have a neat piece of art or a collage of pictures on the wall above the chair, but I haven't quite decided what I'll do yet! Your ideas are welcomed! :) I also want wall to wall curtains on that wall where the window is, but our ceilings are 12 feet tall and we'd have to get them custom made! Can we say, expensive?!

so there it is! the answer to my dilemma! I'm just so happy with it! It's a work in progress, but so far so great!
