it has literally been months since my last post and i will admit that I am a little ashamed with my lack of disciple and devotion to mr. blogspot.com. It has been one busy, whirlwind of a semester and i am proud to announce that in two weeks, i will be a college GRADUATE. That's right ladies and gentlemen (well, mostly ladies..) . After over 160 hours of college credits, more than 50 papers, countless all nighters, and dozens and dozens of lesson plans.... I will FINALLY be done with my undergrad degree. Ahhhh, sweet sweet victory. I have had no time for crafts, fixer uppers, or even a social life this semester. Student teaching has sucked all the life out of me. While this semester has been busy busy and very demanding, it has also been so rewarding. It really is true that experience is the best teacher. I can NOT wait to have my own high school classroom one day.
There are a few things, however, that I have had time for this semester... like a trip and some super fun weekends with my lovely husband. I've also found some stellar new delish recipes, which I hope to post sometime soon (which, knowing me, might not be for months).
So, that's all i have time for right now. Lesson plans are beckoning me. Hope to post again soon. very soon.
