So in about one month, Ryan and I will have been married for ONE whole stinking year. Honestly, I remember wondering on my wedding day what the first year of marriage had in store for ryan and me. I had no idea that our first year would be as fun, sweet, romantic, and precious as it has been. The Lord has definitely blessed Ryan and I beyond all we had ever hoped or imagined. He gave Ryan a great job, gave us an adorable puppy, gave me a successful last year of college, and blessed us with opportunities we never thought we would have in our first few years of marriage. He has allowed us to go on SOO many fun trips together and has given us a lot of sweet dates and nights at home.
The Lord is just way too good. He has given me such a Godly husband who genuinely puts my hopes and desires above his own. He's given me a husband who works his tail off to provide for me, and enjoys doing it! He's given me a husband who loves me even when I'm a pain in the butt. He's given me a husband who washes dishes and folds laundry! I'm just so thankful and blessed beyond measure to have married a man like Ryan. I think the Lord every single day for my husband. And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Even though we are newlyweds, I pray that tour love and passion for one another only continues to grow! So we'll be like super-newlyweds when we're like 50!
This post was mainly for my own documentation. I want to read back over this down the road to be reminded of exactly how my first year of marriage was. I told you this post was going to be lovey-dovey. But cut me some slack folks!
(p.s.- this is THREE posts within the last week. Am i back or am i back?!)
