Alright, so I know it has been OVER a month since my last post but life has been busy in 2010! I started student teaching in mid-Janruary and I'm having the best time! I love the school that I'm working with and I love the faculty and staff. I'm so thankful for the experience I've had thus far! It has been absolutely exhausting though. I usually come home from student teaching just to work on lesson plans! I miss having my evenings free to spend with Ryan! I have definitely learned not to take those nights for granted anymore! Ryan has been such a sweetheart though over these last few weeks. He's cleaned the house for me from top to bottom, cooked me breakfast most mornings, and made me dinner. I'm so thankful and feel so blessed to have a husband who has such a servant's heart.
This morning I received a welcomed surprise! I opened the door to take ruby potty, and there, right before my eyes... was 7 inches of snow! Yes m'am. 7 inches of snow! I honestly don't know if I've seen that much snow in my whole life (sad, i know). So I went back inside, woke up Ryan, and we immediately put on our snow clothes and headed out at the door at 6:30 in the morning. Can you tell we were a little excited? Puppy Ruby LOVED the snow. She has literally been outside all day long playing in it! She runs around as fast as she can and jumps and tries to eat the snow. It's precious. Here are a few pictures of Rubes outside:
Ryan had to work today, so me and Rubes played in the snow together all day! We went on two LONG walks and visited my sister and her husband! Today has been such a nice relaxing day with puppy! I'm so thankful to have a day to rest and catch up on some housework ((and blog!)) Hopefully the posts won't be so few and far between!

Too bad Ryan had to work! Snow days are great (until you get too many in a row - eek).
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS Saturday Sharefest! I love the pictures of Ruby in the snow, too cute! Our dog, Emma Bobo, loved the snow when we lived in Flagstaff, AZ. It was so much fun to watch her jump around and play in it.
