Oh Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas lights inside my house. It's so warm and cozy to turn all the other lights off and enjoy the glow from the tree and garland! I might not ever take my Christmas lights down. Seriously. I just love them.

So this year was my first year decorating my new home with my husband, and it was so much fun! We had our whole apartment decorated the week before Thanksgiving! We were so eager. We just couldn't wait! I've had a few weeks to stare at my tree and there are so many ornaments that I just love, and i wanted to share them with you!


I bought this ornament for Ryan the first year we dated (2005)! We did the 12 days of Christmas for each other that year, so, starting on the 13th, we gave each other a gift every day until Christmas. It was so much fun! This was one of the gifts I gave him!


Ryan and I got this ornament on our honeymoon! We went to Disneyworld for our honeymoon (yes, we're six years old) and stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom lodge and then went on a Disney cruise. I can't even tell you how fun it was! We bought this ornament at Disney world. It's kinda blurry, but in the middle it says "our first christmas! I love it.


So, I married into a pretty darn talented family. Ryan's gradmother's daughter (confusing, I know) owns and runs her own pottery business called Etta B pottery. All of her stuff is SO ADORABLE it's ridiculous. Last year for christmas she gave me two pieces of her pottery and this ornament! It's pottery! How presh is that?


My mom started this neat tradition that i want to do with my children one day. She started us a collection of ornaments when we were little, and every year she bought us a new one. I collect Barbie ornaments! ( I told you i was six years old!) They're so pretty and it's so much fun getting a new one each year! Since I was little I've always looked forward to opening the box labeled "Lindsay's ornaments" and taking out each one and hanging it on a tree branch. This is one of my favorite Barbies! (probably because it looks like she has on a wedding dress!)


Here is another one of my favorite barbies! She is fashion barbie and she comes with like three pairs of shoes! I'm a sucker for a cute pair of shoes. What girl isn't?


My older sister had a destination wedding in Orlando a few years ago! After the wedding, my whole family, including Ryan, spent the day in disneyworld! I got this ornament to remind me of Audrey's fun wedding and the great time we had in Orlando! Plus, it's Cinderella and her prince.. which reminded me of my prince!! [ cheesy, I know. You can throw up now.]


Ryan made this ornament when he was little bitty! It's the star of Bethlehem. I think it's so sweet! I love it!


There are so many more ornaments I could show you, but you would be reading this post FOREVER! I have a few ornaments that I'm making, but I haven't finished those yet so you can't see them! Don't you just love decorating for Christmas?! What are a few of your favorite ornaments?!
