A few years ago I spent a few months in Australia working and serving in a church in Queensland. While I was there, I met Tim. Tim and I quickly became good friends and have stayed in touch over the years! He just visited the States and stayed with us for 15 days, and we had so much fun showing him around and introducing him to the south! Here's a quick summary of his stay:
We took a swamp tour in New Orleans and saw some creepy gators and a neat village on the water! Tim LOVED it!
Spent a day in Nashville:
We took him to a MS State game! Tim was enthralled by the cowbells, massive jumbo-tron, and big crowd!
Went to Graceland:
And had a Halloween Party! Australians don't celebrate Halloween, so this holiday was so weird and foreign to Tim!

We also took Tim to eat some Memphis Bar-be-que, cooked him a homemade southern dinner, Ryan took him deer hunting, we took him downtown and went to the Gibson guitar center and down Beale Street, he went to the Memphis zoo, spent some time in Holly Springs, Ms, and too him to some local shops! We had such a great time with Tim and we were SO sad to see him go. Hopefully next time we see Tim, Ryan and I will be in Australia!
