blog award- what what?!

So my darling sister gave me this blog award, and I will admit that I was a little flattered. I mean, I know she's my sister and has to give me stuff like this, but it still made me excited. ( i'm a loser, i know). You should really check out her blog, The Joys of Raising Jack & Jovie. Why, you ask?! Because she is such a Godly mother and love and emotion just seeps through her writing. Seriously, almost every single one of her posts brings me to tears. She also has the two most adorable children you've ever seen in your life and some really yummy recipes on her blog!

Now that I have followed the first rule of the blog award, which was thanking Audrey, the next three rules demand (not really, just wanted to be dramatic) that I pass the award to 7 other bloggers, tell them that they've won the award, and tell 7 things about myself. so here goes nothing....

Bethany and I used to work together at an all girls school. Bethany has such a bubbly personality and is such a fashionista! Her and her boyfriend are absolutely adorable and her blog is full of fun ideas and insight!

2. Adventures in the Life of Mr. & Mrs. A:

I don't personally know Mrs. A, but her blog is so cute and encouraging! She always writes about what the Lord is doing in her life and it's so refreshing!

3. Amanda from Calvin and Amanda: Us approaching Marriage

Amanda is such a sweetheart and is engaged to be married in just a few weeks! Amanda and Calvin are so cute and perfect for each other! Her blog is all about their wedding plans and then after they get married, it'll be about their journey together as a married couple!

4. Rebecca Jo from Knit By God's Hand:

Rebecca Jo's blog is so cute and fun to read! She has some precious grand babies that she loves to blog about!

5. Save the date for cupcakes:

I am absolutely obsessed with this blog. It has the cutest party decorating ideas and I literally check it every single day. I am throwing a few wedding showers this summer and it has inspired me with so many great do-it-yourself ideas! You really should check it out, especially if you're a big party planning dork like me!

6. Katie from Along the Way with K+J:

Audrey also nominated Katie for this award, but I had to go ahead and nominate her as well! Katie loves to go garage sale shopping and is so crafty! She has such a fun personality and is also a newlywed! Check out her blog! You'll be glad you did! :)

Okay so you're suppose to choose 7 nominees, but I only chose 6. I'm such a rebel. The very last step in this blog award is to tell 7 random things about myself, so here we go!

1. I hate the words "blood" and "meat". It even made my knees weak just to type those words. Meat grosses me out.

2. I have to make my bed every single night before I go to sleep. i can not STAND to get into bed with messy covers. I literally can't sleep if the sheets are wrinkled. it's a little obsessive compulsive.

3. My husband and I dated in high school and then started dating again in college, and then got married as soon as he graduated. We love each other.

4. i love cooking new recipes and especially love to see my husband enjoy my cooking. it makes me so happy.

5. i love globes and maps.

6. Emma Pillsbury, from Glee, is my fashion role model. Seriously, I absolutely love her outfits and want to dress just like her.

7. I have the best family in the whole world. I have no idea what I would do with them.
